The Shenandoah Region of farmers markets includes the counties of Augusta, Albemarie, Clarke, Frederick, Page, Rockbridge, Rockingham, Shenandoah and Warren.

About the Shenandoah Region Markets:

Traveling through the Shenandoah Valley offers an array of scenic beauty, from natural caverns, historic sites, and thriving communities offering unique food experiences, music, arts, festivals, and more.  

The Shenandoah Valley is home to four of the top five agricultural counties in Virginia producing more than $1.2 billion annually in commodities sold. Rockingham County is the largest agricultural county in the Commonwealth of Virginia, boasting 233,087 acres of farmland.

The Shenandoah Valley is known as Virginia’s breadbasket. Farms are spread far and wide across the picturesque valley producing grains, fruits, and vegetables in abundance. There are 26 known farmers markets in the region providing much access to fresh, healthy, local foods.
