Daniel James (DJ) is the founder and creative director of HERD Ventures. DJ is a visual storyteller, marketing professional, and consultant for small farms and the regional food system. He has farmed, documented, and studied agriculture across the country and around the world for over a decade. When he is not producing videos or photographing food folk, he hosts farm-focused culinary events and consults on farms to diversify their revenue. When you see an old tractor on the side of the road and someone with a camera, that’s him!
