New Update on Masks at Market: According to state government officials, fully vaccinated people DO NOT have to wear masks at Virginia’s farmers markets.

Due to our continued requests for clarification regarding discrepancies of the mask requirements from the Governor, VDACS, VDOLI, and the CDC, we have just received a phone call from state leadership stating that if you are fully vaccinated, you do not need to wear a mask at Virginia farmers markets. This is for vendors, staff, and customers.

We have asked for written confirmation and have been assured that it is forthcoming if you need this for your municipality.

As always, we will continue to advocate for Virginia’s farmers markets.
