A grant-funded project with the Society of St. Andrew (SoSA) out of Big Island is developing three gleaning-related trainings, and they would appreciate some feedback!
- One is focused on gleaners (largely based on the produce worker training already offered),
- One focused on farmers (focused on their safety considerations when working with gleaners), and
- One focused on farmers market managers, (focused on their safety considerations when working with gleaners)
The goal of this project is to promote gleaning and educate about some of the food safety considerations.
