Wayne F. Pryor, a Goochland County hay and grain producer, was elected as the president of the Virginia Farm Bureau Federation in November, 2006.
He served as Virginia Farm Bureau’s vice president since December 1998, and as a member of the Virginia Farm Bureau Federation board of directors since 1988.
He currently serves on the board of directors of the American Farm Bureau Federation; on the Mississippi-based Southern Farm Bureau Life Insurance Company as First Vice President; on the American Agricultural Insurance Company, and on the American Farm Bureau Insurance Services Company. He is also President of the Virginia Foundation for Agriculture in the Classroom and the Virginia Farm Bureau Federation AgPAC (political action committee).
Mr. Pryor is an Elder at Forest Grove Christian Church, where he also has served as chairman of the board.
He lives in Goochland’s Hadensville area with his wife, Pattie.
