Project Description
Megan Townley is the Food Access Manager at Project GROWS, a 501(c)3 nonprofit educational farm with a mission to improve the overall health of children and youth in Staunton, Waynesboro, and Augusta County, Virginia. Megan received her Bachelors Degree from Oregon State University in 2017 and has been pursuing a career in non-profit work centered around the food system and food security. Megan has been the market manager for Project GROWS’ many markets for the last 2 years and she also manages the organizations farm to school programs and community outreach programs. When she is not working, Megan enjoys going on hikes in the Shenandoah Valley with her dog Moose, and learning new recipes to share with her family.
