Fresh Produce Vouchers for Older Adults 60+

Are you aged 60 or above? Great news! You may be eligible to receive ten $5 vouchers, totaling $50, to spend on fresh fruits, vegetables, and fresh-cut herbs from local, participating farmers market vendors. To qualify for the Farm Market Fresh program:

Here’s how to sign up:

Step 1: Contact Your Local Area Agency on Aging

Reach out to your local Area Agency on Aging. They will provide you with all the information you need. To qualify for the fresh food vouchers, you will need to certify that your household income falls within the eligibility criteria. Your local Area Agency on Aging will assist you with this step and ensure you meet the requirements. (Find your local agency’s contact information in the list below.)

Step 2: Receive Your Vouchers

Once your eligibility is confirmed, you will receive ten $5 vouchers, amounting to a total of $50. These vouchers can be used at participating farmers market vendors.

Step 3: Visit a Participating Market Near You

To locate participating farmers markets in your area, visit the VAFMA farmers market map and choose Senior FMNP from the Select program dropdown list. The deadline to spend the 2023 vouchers is November 18th, 2023.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to access quality, locally grown fruits, vegetables, and herbs. Contact your local Area Agency on Aging today!
