Beth Austin

Beth is the Nutrition Incentive Coordinator for Virginia Community Food Connections, a food access nonprofit based in Fredericksburg, where she oversees the SNAP and Virginia Fresh Match incentive program at a number of farmers market in the Central region.  She is also the Assistant Manager for Spotsylvania Farmers Market, so between the two, she gets to spend a lot of time enjoying the beauty and bounty of the market.   As a nutritionist, she is passionate about the difference that eating a healthy, whole foods diet can make for a lifetime of good health and wellbeing, and feels fortunate that the focus of her work these days is to support healthy food access for all.
